Perfect Thread Mills Ltd.

We're out in the Amberi Industrial Area, right off N. H. 8. It’s easy to find because it’s so close to the highway. Perfect Thread Mills Ltd. is basically a big warehouse with a lot of machinery for making thread. Being in an industrial area means there’s always noise and trucks moving around. We don’t mind it much. It’s just how things are in this part of Amberi. The sun hits the metal roof in the afternoons and it gets pretty warm inside. We have big fans but they only do so much during the peak heat. We deal with all kinds of threads, different colors and thicknesses. It’s a lot of checking and re-checking. If one machine is off by a little bit, the whole batch is ruined, so we have to be very careful. The floors are concrete and they're usually covered in tiny bits of fluff from the thread. We wear old clothes because everything gets dusty fast. There isn't much to see around here besides other factories and a few small eateries for the workers. We usually eat our lunch together in the small break room near the back door. It’s a simple life, really. We just focus on getting the thread out to the garment makers on time. The highway is always humming in the background. It’s a good location for transport, which is why we stayed all these years. It works for us.
