Our place is at 14a-1 The Idea, over in New Fatehpura. It is a bit of a different setup compared to the big factories outside the city. We deal mostly with marble and exports, so there is always a lot of paperwork and phone calls going on. Udaipur is famous for its stone, so being in New Fatehpura puts us in a good spot where things are a bit more settled. The office is where we spend most of our time. It is not very big, but it serves the purpose. We talk to people from all over who want the marble from this region. Sometimes it gets a bit hectic when a big order is being prepared and the trucks are waiting. We have to make sure everything is recorded right. It is a lot of back and forth with the quarries and the shipping agents. We have been working in this field for many years now. You learn a lot about the different grains and colors of marble just by looking at them every day. The coffee machine in the corner is probably the most used thing in the room. We don't try to be something we aren't. We are just a small team trying to get the work done and make sure the marble gets to where it needs to go. New Fatehpura is a nice area, relatively quiet compared to the industrial zones, which we appreciate when the day gets long and tiring.
