Prince Green Marble

Prince Green Marble is right across from the Eklingnath Petrol Pump in Sukher. It is a very easy place to find because the petrol pump is such a big landmark. We have been here for a good bit of time. The yard is usually full of green marble and other stones we manage to get. It’s a busy spot with all the cars and trucks pulling into the pump across the way. We spend most of our mornings unloading new arrivals or organizing the slabs so they don't tip over. It’s hard work and the stone is heavy, so we have to be careful. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It's just us showing people the stone when they walk in. Some days it is really busy and we are constantly on our feet. Other days we just sit and wait for the next truck. We use water to wash the slabs down so the colors show up better for the visitors. The dust from the road is a constant battle, but that’s just how it is in Sukher. We’re just regular people trying to run a decent business. We don't make big promises. We just show you what we have and let the stone speak for itself. It's a basic setup but it works for us and the people who come by looking for some good material for their floors.
