The office is over here in Devali, right in the Goverdhan Vilas area of Udaipur. It’s 33C if you’re looking for the exact door. Udaipur is known for lakes and all that, but we’re mostly just inside working on the e-commerce side of things. It’s not a giant skyscraper or anything, just a regular place where a few of us sit and handle orders and all the computer work that comes with it. Girwa can get a bit crowded during the day so getting to work takes a bit longer than I’d like sometimes. We’ve been here for a while now and the neighborhood knows us. It’s mostly just making sure the website stuff works and the items get where they need to go. We don’t have fancy coffee machines, just a kettle and some tea bags in the corner. Some days are busier than others, especially when there’s a big sale or something happening online. We just try to keep up with the messages and the shipping lists. It’s a practical way to earn a living. The walls are a bit plain and we probably should paint them, but there’s always too much work to do to worry about that. Being in Rajasthan means it gets really hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going all the time. It’s just us doing our bit in the local economy here in 313001. Nothing too complicated about it, just a local business trying to stay organized.
