Pratishtha Marbles

We are Pratishtha Marbles, located right on the Sukher NH-8 main road. If you are driving on the highway, we are directly opposite Tulsi Marble. It is a very loud and busy place to be most of the time. There are big trucks zooming by at all hours of the day and night. Being on the main road makes it easy for deliveries to get in and out, though. We have a large display area out front so people passing by can see what we have without stopping. Inside the yard, it’s a bit more chaotic than the front. We have slabs stacked everywhere. Some are tied together with heavy rope, others are leaning on metal frames. We spend a lot of time cleaning the stones because the highway dust covers them very quickly. It’s a lot of work to keep the place looking halfway decent for visitors. We don’t have a fancy lobby or anything like that. You just come in, walk around the stacks, and see what catches your eye. We've been at this location for a long time now. The guys who work here have been with us for years and know the stone well. We know the NH-8 traffic patterns by heart. Sometimes it’s hard to hear each other over the truck engines, but we make it work. It’s a practical business. We deal in marble because that’s what we know how to do. It is a gritty job but someone has to do it.
