Ashirwad Minerals & Marbles

We've been running Ashirwad Minerals & Marbles from our spot in Pratap Nagar for a good while now. It’s right near the Gurudwara in A Block, at 114-115, so most locals know where we are. We deal with various minerals and different types of marble stones every day. It’s hard work, but we keep at it. Some days are busier than others when trucks come in or customers drop by to look at samples. Our yard isn't fancy, just stacks of stones and bags of minerals waiting to be moved. We handle the loading ourselves most of the time. People come to us when they need stuff for building or fixing up their places. We try to keep things organized at the shop, though it gets dusty with all the stone around. It’s just how the business is. We don't have a big office, mostly just the workspace where we get things done. If you're walking past the Gurudwara, you’ll probably see us working. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but we’re still here doing the same thing. It’s practical work. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of what comes in from the mines. No two pieces of marble are really the same, which keeps things interesting I guess. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the stone is what people expected. It’s a steady life here in the C Class area of Pratap Nagar.
