Prabhu Shree Marbles

We are located at 143 Sukher Nh-8. It's easy to find us because we are right opposite Eklingnath Petrol Pump. Most days start early here when the sun hits the stones piled up in the yard. Being on the highway means there is always a lot of noise and trucks passing by, which we have gotten used to over the years. We handle mostly marbles. The yard at Prabhu Shree Marbles is usually covered in a thin layer of white dust. That is just how it is when you deal with stone every day. My clothes usually have that dust on them by noon. We spend a lot of time moving slabs around so people can see the patterns. Sometimes it takes a while to find the right piece in the stack. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just a desk, some chairs, and the stone. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and shifting. We see a lot of people stopping at the petrol pump across the road, and sometimes they wander over to look at what we have. The weather gets really hot in the summer, and the stone stays warm even after the sun goes down. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out. It’s not a complicated business, just heavy. If you are driving on Nh-8, you will see our sign. It's a simple place with a lot of heavy rocks.
