Naveen Marble & Granite

We are located on the Bhuwana Bypass in Sukher, right along the NH-8. If you know where the Celebration Mall is, we are just opposite that. It is an interesting spot because you have the big modern mall on one side and then all the traditional stone yards like ours on the other. We’ve got marble and granite stacked everywhere. It’s a dusty environment, especially with the highway traffic blowing by. We get a mix of people coming in. Some are just stopping by after shopping at the mall, and others are contractors who have been buying from us for years. We show the stone as it is, no special lighting. We just lean them against the frames. Moving these slabs is a two or three-person job at least. We have to be careful not to chip the edges. The granite comes in many colors, and we try to keep a variety so there is something for everyone. It’s hard work, but we are used to it. The noise from the bypass is constant, but you stop noticing it after a while. We don't have any big mission statements. We just sell stone to people who are building things. It’s about as simple as a business gets. We stay open late sometimes if a customer is coming from far away. It’s just what we do here in Sukher. We’ve been around for a bit and we just keep at it every day.
