Monika Marbles & Granites

Monika Marbles & Granites is based right here in Hiran Magri. We don't have a massive warehouse, but we keep a good selection of stone for anyone in the neighborhood who is working on a construction project. Most of our days are spent checking the inventory and talking to folks who walk in off the street. It is a local business, so we know a lot of the people who come by. We handle the marble slabs and the granite pieces ourselves, and yes, it is as heavy as it looks. My back usually aches by the time we close up for the evening. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks or try to act like a big company. We are just a small team trying to provide what people need for their floors or stairs. The stone comes from different places and every batch looks a little different, so we have to explain that to people who expect every piece to be identical. It is a bit of a messy job, especially when the weather is wet, but we are used to it. We keep our paperwork in a simple folder and we don't spend much time on the computer. It is mostly just face-to-face talk and showing people the actual stone we have sitting right there in the yard. That is how we have always done things here, just keeping it simple and honest.
