Out here on the Sukher By Pass Road, it stays pretty busy with all the trucks moving in and out. Our place is at No. 1900/781 in the Banjaron Ka Kheda area, right in the middle of the Sukher Industrial hub. We deal with natural stone, so there is always a lot of heavy material sitting around the yard. Most of our morning is spent checking the new arrivals and making sure the cranes are working okay. It’s not a quiet place by any means. The sound of the saws and the forklifts is basically the background music for our entire day. We have various kinds of stone coming through, and we just try to keep it organized so when a customer asks for a specific color, we actually know where it is in the pile. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit messy, but the stone itself is solid. Being near the bypass makes it easier for the big lorries to get to us, though the dust from the road can be a bit much in the summer heat. We just wear our boots, drink a lot of tea, and get on with the work. It’s a straightforward business of buying, storing, and selling stone. We aren't doing anything special; we’re just making sure the slabs get to the builders without too much trouble or delay. Every day is mostly the same, just shifting heavy things from one side of the lot to the other.
