Menaria Udyog

Menaria Udyog is tucked away at 18, Pipleshwer Mahadev Gali in the Naion Ki Talai area. The lane is quite narrow, so you have to watch where you’re walking. It’s a small operation we have here. We mostly focus on manufacturing small items. The building is old, and we’ve had to fix it up ourselves over the years. It’s not a place you’d find in a business park. We have our machines set up in a couple of rooms, and it gets pretty cramped when we have a big order to finish. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try not to make too much noise late at night. We don't have a sales team or a marketing department. If people want something, they just come to the door in the Gali. We spend a lot of time on the floor, working with our hands. It’s a bit messy with scraps and materials lying around, but we know where everything is. We take pride in the fact that we've stayed in this neighborhood for so long. It’s just a small family-run business trying to keep things going. We don't need anything more than our workspace and our regular customers. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out with a cup of tea. It’s just the way things go around here. We like the local feel of the place.
