Mehta Marble & Granites

Our yard is tucked away in Sukher, right behind where the old RTO office used to be. Most people who deal in stone know this area well. We’ve been sitting in this same spot with Mehta Marble & Granites for quite a while now. We deal with marble and granite mostly, whatever we can get from the nearby quarries. The space isn't huge, so we have to stack things carefully to make room for the trucks. It gets a bit chaotic when three or four people show up at once looking for different types of stone. We try to keep things organized but it’s a working yard, not a museum. The office is just a small room with a desk and some chairs where we sit to talk about prices. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone to take professional photos. We just show people what we have on the racks. The weather in Sukher can get really hot, which makes the stone even hotter to touch. We take a long break in the middle of the day when it’s like that. It’s a straightforward business. We buy, we sell, and we help people load their vehicles. That's pretty much the whole story of what we do here. Sometimes we have scraps left over that we just give away to neighbors for their small repair jobs. It’s just how we do things in this part of town.
