Maya Imex

We operate Maya Imex out of No. 96 in the Navratan Complex. This is in the Fatehpura area, which is a decent place to be. We have been in this same suite for several years now. It is a pretty basic setup with a few shelves for samples and some computers that have been around for a long time. The complex has other businesses too, so there is always some activity in the hallways. We deal with both imports and exports. Most of our time goes into filling out customs forms and trying to figure out when the shipping containers will actually arrive. It is a lot of looking at spreadsheets and making sure all the numbers match up. We don’t have a marketing department or anything like that. It is just a few of us doing the work every day. Sometimes the elevator in the building stops working, so we have to carry boxes up and down the stairs. That definitely keeps us in shape. Our windows look out over the street, which is nice for a break. We try to keep the office organized, but when a new shipment arrives, the whole place gets covered in boxes and packing materials. It usually takes us a few days to get things back to normal. We like being here in Fatehpura. The tea shop around the corner helps us stay awake during the afternoons. It is a good neighborhood for us.
