Marble India

Our place, Marble India, is located right on N.H. 8 in Sukher, across from Kunal Enterprise. Being on the national highway means there is always a lot of noise and dust from the trucks passing by. We have been here for a good while. The yard is filled with all kinds of marble slabs that we get from various places. It’s a big open space because marble takes up a lot of room. We spend most of our time out there in the heat, moving pieces around so customers can see the full slab. It’s hard to tell what a floor will look like from just a small sample, so we prefer people to look at the whole thing. Sukher is a hub for this kind of work, so we have plenty of neighbors doing similar things. We don’t try to be better than everyone else, we just try to do our work properly. We handle the loading and unloading ourselves most of the time. It keeps us fit, I guess. When someone comes in, we don't give them a big speech. We just walk them around the yard and tell them the price. It’s a very practical way to run a business. The highway location makes it easy for the big transport trucks to pull in and out. If you’re driving through Sukher on N.H. 8, you can’t miss us. We’re usually around from early morning until late evening, just taking care of the stones and the orders for the builders.
