Manish General & Kirana Store

Our store is right there in Malla Talai, near Dhudhiya Ganeshji. It’s a busy little corner. We sell the usual things you need at home, like flour, lentils, and soap. I open up early in the morning because that’s when people realize they ran out of milk or tea leaves. It’s not a big supermarket, just a local kirana store where everything is within arm's reach. Sometimes the bags of rice get heavy, and the space gets a bit cramped when the delivery comes in. We’ve got the regular stuff on the shelves. If you live nearby, you probably walked past us a hundred times. We know most of the faces around here. It’s mostly about making sure people can get their daily groceries without traveling too far. Some days are slow, especially when it's hot out, but then it picks up in the evening. We don’t do anything fancy. It's just a general store. If a kid wants a packet of biscuits or someone needs salt for dinner, they come here. We keep track of what’s in stock. Sometimes we run out of something, but we get it back in a day or two. It's been this way for a long time. Just a small shop serving the folks around Malla Talai. I try to keep the prices fair so people keep coming back. It is a simple life running a shop like this, but I like talking to the neighbors every day.
