Our yard is down on N.H. 8, right near Rishabdeo Textiles in the Thana area of Keshariyaji. It’s an interesting spot because we have the textile mill right there as a neighbor. Malasiya Marbles is basically where we spend all our waking hours. The highway is always busy, and there’s a lot of movement around here. We have rows and rows of marble slabs sitting out in the sun. It’s a lot of work to keep track of everything. I usually have a notebook in my pocket to write down measurements. We don't have a polished sales pitch. If someone comes in, we just walk them around the yard and show them the pieces. It’s dusty and hot, especially in the summer months. Keshariyaji is a place where a lot of people pass through, so we get all sorts of visitors. We have a small office with a fan that barely works, but it’s home to us. We’ve been at this location for a while. The work is mostly about moving heavy things and making sure the slabs don't break. We aren't trying to be the biggest company, just a steady one. We handle the stone, load the trucks, and start again the next day. It’s a plain, honest way to make a living. There is no magic to it, just keeping the inventory moving and the gates open for anyone who stops.
