Dura Coat

Our place, Dura Coat, is situated at Plot No.1 in Hastinapura, which is inside the Madri Industrial Area. It’s quite a way out in Udaipur, specifically near Arora Nagar and the Kharol Colony. If you have ever been to Madri, you know it is a dusty place with lots of trucks moving around. We have been here for a bit, working out of this shop. It is a practical space, mostly filled with our equipment and the materials we need for coating. The walls aren't freshly painted or anything, but they serve their purpose. We spend most of our hours here from morning until the sun goes down. The heat can get pretty intense during the summer months in Rajasthan, so we keep the fans going at full speed. It is mostly just a group of us who have known each other for years. We don't have a big office or a reception desk with someone waiting to greet you. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us in the back working on something. We handle things as they come. Some days are slower than others, which gives us time to clean up or fix the machines. People from the nearby colonies like Arora Nagar often stop by to talk. It feels like a real community even though it is an industrial zone. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
