M S Marble & Granites

M S Marble & Granites is located on NH-8 in Sukher, right near the Government School and the second petrol pump. It’s an interesting spot because you have the school kids walking by in their uniforms and then the big trucks heading to the petrol pump right next to each other. We’ve got our yard set up with various types of marble and granite. It’s a lot of work to keep it all sorted, especially when we get new shipments in. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We’re just local people working with stone. The work is dirty and we often end the day covered in white slurry from the saws or just general road dust. We like being near the school because it makes the area feel a bit more alive, even with all the heavy industry around. People stop in when they're getting fuel or when they're on their way into town. We don't do a hard sell; we just let the stone speak for itself. You can see the patterns and the colors better when we throw a bucket of water on them. We spend most of our time out in the yard, not in an office. It’s a simple business. We buy stone, we store it, and we sell it to people who need it. That’s been the way for a long time now, and we don’t see it changing much.
