Down in the Bhamashah Industrial Area in Kaladwas, things are a bit different than the city. We are at F-319-320 on Road No. 6. Lead Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. is basically a large warehouse with a small office section tucked into the corner. It is a very industrial setting, surrounded by other factories and workshops. The sound of machinery is always somewhere in the distance. We deal with chemical supplies, so we have to be very organized with how things are stored on the racks. It’s not the kind of place where you get a lot of walk-in visitors. Most of our business is done over the phone or through emails. We spend a lot of time checking batches and making sure the labels are correct. The yard is big enough for the delivery trucks to turn around, which is lucky because some of the other roads around here are very tight. In the winter, the office gets quite cold, and in the summer, it’s the opposite. We just wear what’s comfortable and focus on the orders. It’s a lot of physical work and logistics. We have a small team of guys who handle the loading, and we all know each other pretty well. It’s a no-nonsense environment where the main goal is just to get the shipments out on time and keep the facility running smoothly. We usually head home once the last truck is loaded up and the gate is locked for the night. It's steady work for all of us.
