If you go down University Road to Keshav Nagar 4-5, you will find Laddu Gopal Departmrntal Store. We have been here serving the local families for a good amount of time. The shop is filled with a bit of everything, from snacks and drinks to cleaning supplies and toiletries. We try to keep the shelves stocked, but sometimes things sell out faster than we expect, especially on weekends. It is a bit of a squeeze when more than four or five people are inside at once because the aisles are narrow. We spend a lot of time unpacking crates and checking the expiry dates on the milk and bread. It is a routine that keeps us busy from morning until late at night. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use flashlights to help people find what they need. We know most of the kids who come in after school to buy candy or a cold drink. It is a friendly place, but it is also a lot of work to keep everything organized. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us making sure the counter is covered and the floors are swept. The neighborhood is quiet mostly, but our corner stays active. It is just a regular shop where you can find the things you forgot to put on your list. Nothing too special, just a place to get your shopping done near home.
