We are based in Hiran Magri, over in Sector 4 of Udaipur. It is a busy part of the city, which is nice because it’s easy for people to find us. Karara Marble Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from this specific spot for quite a while now. Unlike some of the bigger yards that are way out in the industrial zones, we are right here in the neighborhood. This makes it convenient for homeowners to drop by after they finish work. We keep a good variety of marble in our storage area. The space we have isn't huge, but we make the most of it. Most of our day involves talking to local contractors or people who are doing up their own houses. We walk them through the back and show them what slabs are available. It is a lot of manual work, moving the pieces around so they can be seen properly. Our staff has been here for years, so we all know how the business runs. We don't really do marketing or anything like that. We just keep the doors open and make sure the cutting is done right. Sometimes we get a bit of a backlog when everyone wants their stone at once, but we do our best to catch up. Working in Udaipur means being surrounded by marble, and we are just happy to have our little shop here in Sector 4 to help the locals out.
