Computech

We are located in Naya Bazar in Kankroli, right in the middle of all the local shops and foot traffic. Computech is a small spot where we spend most of our time staring at screens or taking apart laptops to see why they stopped working. The bazaar is always noisy, with people shouting and bells ringing, but inside the shop, it’s a bit quieter, save for the hum of the cooling fans. We handle a lot of different things, from clearing out viruses to fixing broken keyboards that someone spilled tea on. People in Kankroli come to us because they know we are right here in the neighborhood and they don't have to go far to get help with their gadgets. Sometimes the parts we need take a few days to arrive by mail, and we have to explain that to customers who are in a big hurry. It can be a bit frustrating when technology doesn't behave, but we enjoy the challenge of figuring out the problem. We keep some basic cables and mice on the counter for people who just need a quick replacement. It’s not a fancy showroom with bright lights; it’s more of a workspace where wires are everywhere and there’s always a half-finished repair sitting on the bench. We like being part of the bazaar life and seeing the familiar faces every day as they walk past our window.
