Jk Marble & Granites

We have our shop and space at No-F-61, specifically Shop No-62 & 63, in Sukher Village. Sukher is well known for this kind of work, so we fit right in with the other businesses in Bargaon Tehsil. The whole area is often covered in a thin layer of white dust from all the marble being cut and polished in the neighboring units. We spend our mornings opening up the shutters and checking what slabs we have ready to go. The shop isn't very large, but we make use of every inch to store the different types of granite and marble we carry. It can be a bit of a maze sometimes when you are trying to find a specific slab at the back. Most of the people who come to see us are looking for something specific for their kitchen or bathroom floors. We don't use any high-pressure tactics; we just let them look at the stone and tell them what it is. The work involves a lot of water and polishing, which keeps things a bit damp and cool inside the shop during the summer. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time navigating the narrow parts of the village road, so we have to go out and help guide them in. It's a steady life here in the village. We see the same faces often and have a good routine going. It’s not a glamorous job, but we like being part of the Sukher stone trade.
