Jhankar Marble

Jhankar Marble is sitting right on the NH-8 in Sukher. It is a major road and we are surrounded by many other yards doing similar work. We have quite a bit of stone stacked up in our area. You can usually spot our place as you drive along the highway. We do not have a big fancy entrance or a decorated gate. It is just a functional workspace where we handle marble every day. We spend most of our time looking over the slabs and talking to the drivers who bring the material in. The dust is a constant presence, but that is just part of the life of a stone worker. We try to keep the yard as organized as we can so people can walk through. Some days are very busy with multiple trucks, while other days are a bit slower. When it rains, the yard gets a little muddy, but that is to be expected. We have been in Sukher for a long time now. The highway has become much busier since we first started out here. We just stick to the work we know. The marble comes in from the quarries, we sort it out, and then it goes to whoever needs it. It is a simple cycle that we have followed for years. We do not spend money on big advertisements or anything promotional.
