Chetak Circle is a very noisy place to have a business, but that is where we are. We are at City 123, right where the traffic is always moving. People are always honking their horns outside, but inside we are just focused on the sugar syrup and the flour. Making sweets is a sticky business and we are always covered in a bit of dust or syrup. We have a lot of people who just pull over their scooters, grab a box of sweets, and head off to whatever party or dinner they are going to. We don't have much room for people to sit down, so it is mostly a take-away kind of place. The display counters are old but we keep them clean so you can see what is fresh. We make a lot of barfi and different milk sweets throughout the day. My family has been doing this for a long time and we just kept the shop going here because everyone knows where Chetak Circle is. It is easy to find us. Sometimes we get a bit overwhelmed during the festival season and we have to stay up all night to finish the orders. The lights in the shop are a bit bright and the fans are old and noisy, but they keep the air moving. We just do our work and try to make sure every box is filled properly before it goes out the door.
