Jai Laxmi Namkeen Mishtan

We’ve been here at Delhi Gate 57 for quite some time now. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading to work. We mostly spend our day getting the namkeen ready and making sure the sweets look okay in the glass cases. It isn’t fancy here, just a regular shop where you can grab something salty or sweet. Sometimes the traffic outside gets really loud, but we’re used to it. My family helps out behind the counter. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. Most people who stop by are just walking past or live nearby in the neighborhood. We try to keep things fresh. If a tray of snacks is empty, we fill it back up. It gets pretty crowded during festival times, which makes the days go by faster. Some days are slower, and we just sit and talk with the regular customers who have been coming here for years. We know most of them by face, even if we don't know all their names. It's just a simple life running a shop in this part of town. We open up early and stay until the sun goes down. There’s always cleaning to do or some inventory to check on. It’s what we do. Delhi Gate is a good place to be, right in the middle of everything. We just keep our heads down and work.
