Jagdish Sweet Corner

Jagdish Sweet Corner is right at Goal Circle 7 in Bapu Bazar. If you know the area, you know it’s always crowded. We’ve got the shop right on the corner, which is good for people walking by. We spend a lot of time in the back where the big pots are. Making sweets takes a lot of patience and heat. It gets very hot in the kitchen, especially in the summer months. We make the usual items like laddus and jalebis. We don't try to make anything too modern or strange. People come here for the things they know. The display cases are usually full by the time the market wakes up. Bapu Bazar is a great place to work because there’s always something happening. You see all kinds of people shopping for clothes or household items. Sometimes we run out of the popular stuff by late afternoon, so we have to start a new batch quickly. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. It’s just us and the customers. We’ve been here for years, and we’ve seen kids grow up and bring their own kids here for a treat. It’s nice to be part of the community like that. We keep the floor swept and the counters wiped. It’s not a big operation, just a family business trying to do things right every day.
