Hiran Marble

Hiran Marble is tucked away on Bedla Road, right behind the Old RTO in the Sukher Nh-8 area. It's a busy part of town for anyone in the stone trade. We spend our days mostly organizing the yard and talking to the drivers who bring the blocks in from the quarries. It’s not the easiest place to find if you aren't looking for it, but being behind the old RTO helps people get their bearings. The work is mostly about managing the stock we have. Marble is heavy and can be tricky to move without breaking, so we have to be careful. We aren't big on fancy talk or selling people things they don't need. Most people come in knowing exactly what they want for their kitchen or floors. We just show them what we have in the back. It gets very hot out there in the yard during the afternoon, so we usually try to get the heavy loading done in the early hours. There’s always a layer of white dust on everything, including our clothes, but that’s just part of the job. We’ve been in this spot for several years now. It’s a solid location because we’re close to the main road but have enough space to keep a decent amount of stone. If you're looking for us, just head towards the old RTO and follow the road back. We’re usually around most days just doing our usual thing.
