Himmat Marbles

Himmat Marbles is located over on Sukher Bedla Link Road in Sukher. We’ve been operating out of this spot for quite a bit. It’s a busy area for stone, but we like our corner here. We mostly spend our time looking over slabs and making sure the cuts are decent. It’s a lot of manual labor, but we are used to it by now. The Sukher area gets a lot of traffic, so there’s always something happening outside the gate. We aren’t a huge corporation, just a local business trying to make a living with marble. When someone walks in, we usually have a layer of dust on our clothes from the yard. We just show them what’s available in the stacks. Sometimes the patterns in the stone are really something, and other times they’re just plain, but that’s nature for you. We don’t try to sugarcoat things. If a slab has a hairline crack, we’ll point it out. It’s better to be straight with people so they know what they are buying for their homes. We use the crane to shift things around when someone wants to see a piece at the bottom of a pile. It takes time and patience. We just keep at it, day in and day out, making sure the yard stays functional and the orders get out on time.
