Gurukripa Marbles & Granites

You will find us right on NH-8 in Sukher. Having both marble and granite in one spot keeps us on our toes. Granite is a lot tougher to handle sometimes, but we have the equipment for it. The location on the highway is convenient for the big trucks, though the noise can be a bit much during the peak hours. We have a routine here that starts with checking the cranes and making sure the water for the saws is running right. Working outside means we are at the mercy of the weather. When it rains, the yard gets muddy, and when it’s dry, the dust is everywhere. We don't put on any acts for our customers. We are just regular people who know a thing or two about stone. Most of us have been working in Sukher for years. We’ve seen the business change quite a bit, but the stone is still the same. It is heavy, it is cold, and it takes a lot of sweat to get it ready for a house. We don't have any fancy brochures. People just come in, look at the stacks, and we tell them the price. It’s a very direct way of doing business. At the end of the shift, we shut the gates and head home, ready to do the same thing tomorrow. That is the life of a stone yard on the highway.
