Green Marbles

You can find us out in Village - Odwas, near Keshariyaji. We go by the name Green Marbles. Being out in the village means things are a bit slower and quieter than in the city, which suits us just fine. We have a lot of open space here, which is necessary when you’re dealing with big blocks of marble. The air is a bit cleaner out here, though we still get our fair share of dust from the stone. Most of the people working here are from the village or the surrounding areas. We’ve all known each other for a long time. It’s more of a community feel than a typical business. We don’t have a website or a big marketing team. People usually find out about us by word of mouth or by just driving past on their way to Keshariyaji. We focus on the marble we get from the local quarries. It’s hard work, especially in the heat, but it’s what we know how to do. The yard is simple, with piles of stone waiting to be processed. We don’t use any polished language because that’s not who we are. We’re just regular people trying to do a good job with the materials we have. Sometimes we sit under the trees during lunch and talk about things other than work. It’s a basic life, but we take pride in the stone that leaves our yard.
