Godawat Marble

We've been here in Sukher on the NH-8 for a while now. Most people know us because we're right across from Amar Jyoti Granite. It's a busy spot with trucks going by all day long. We deal with marble stones, mostly what people need for their floors or houses. It isn't fancy work, just moving heavy slabs and making sure pieces are what people asked for. The yard gets dusty, especially in the summer heat, but that's just how it is in this trade. My team and I spend most of the morning sorting through the new arrivals. Sometimes the colors vary a bit because it's natural stone. We try to be clear about that. If you're driving down the highway, you'll see our stacks. It’s a family-run sort of thing. Nothing too complicated. We just open up early, handle the loading, and talk to whoever walks in looking for a specific cut. Sometimes people come from far away, other times it’s just someone from around the corner building a small kitchen. We keep things pretty straightforward. There's no big office here, just the stone and the tools. Dealing with marble is heavy work and takes some patience. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, more shops popping up everywhere. But we’re still here in the same spot, doing what we know. If you need to find us, just look for the sign near the granite place. It’s easy enough to spot. We're usually around.
