Global Touch Stone Private Limited

Over at 177 Mahawat Wari, in the area known as Chittoro Ka Timba, is where Global Touch Stone Private Limited is located. This part of the city has very narrow streets and old buildings that have been around forever. It’s a tight fit for the trucks sometimes, but we make it work. We are surrounded by history and a lot of traditional stone work, which reminds us every day of why we are in this business. Our shop is a bit cramped with all the samples and slabs leaning against the walls, but it has a good feel to it. We aren't a big, polished company with a lobby or an elevator. We are just a small group of people who understand how to handle stone. We spend our mornings moving heavy pieces around and our afternoons talking to whoever walks through the door. Sometimes the city sounds are so loud we have to shout to be heard, but that is just life in the heart of the town. We don't have a mission statement or any of those corporate goals. We just try to get the stone out the door and into the hands of people who appreciate it. It is a bit dusty and the work is hard on the back, but seeing a nice piece of marble or granite go to a new home is worth it. We stay grounded here in Chittoro Ka Timba.
