Friends Marbles

Our place is at 109 Saheli Nagar over in B-Block. It’s a simple yard where we keep all the marble. There isn't a fancy showroom with bright lights or anything like that. You just walk in and see the slabs stacked up against the walls. Marble is heavy and it gets quite dusty, so we are always cleaning up the floor. We spend our days moving these big pieces of stone around. It’s hard work on the back, but we’ve been at it for a while. The sun can get really hot out in the open area of the yard during the afternoons. We help people look through the different patterns and colors to find what they need for their floors or kitchens. Every piece of stone is a bit different, so you never really know what you’ll find in a new batch. Saheli Nagar is a decent enough neighborhood and it’s usually quiet until a truck arrives with more stock. We don’t have a big team of sales people. It’s just us helping out whoever stops by. We try to keep things honest and straightforward. We don't use any big words or fancy pitches. If you like a piece of marble, we figure out how to get it to your house. That is pretty much all there is to our daily routine. We just keep our heads down and handle the stone as it comes.
