Doshi Marbles

We are located right on N.H. 8 in Sukher. Being on the national highway means we see a lot of traffic passing by all day and night. It’s a prime spot for a marble business because everyone knows this road. We’ve got a good amount of space here for our slabs. We don't have a fancy showroom with big glass windows. Most of our marble is kept out in the open or under simple tin sheds. This is a hands-on business. We’re often out there with a bucket of water, splashing it on the stones so people can see what the colors will actually look like once they’re polished and installed. It’s a messy job, and our boots are always wet. We don't go in for corporate talk or big promises. We just show you what we have on the lot today. Sometimes the inventory moves fast, and other times we have the same slabs for months. That’s just the way the market goes. The sun can be pretty brutal out here on the highway, so we usually have a shady spot where we can sit and talk about prices. We’ve been here in Sukher for quite a while and have seen many neighbors come and go. We stay because we know the stone and we know the people who need it. It’s not a complicated operation, just us, the highway, and a lot of marble. We just take things as they come and keep the business going.
