Darshanika General Store

Darshanika General Store is located at number 23 in Bada Bazar. This area is always crowded and noisy, which is just how it’s always been. My shop is nestled among many others, and we sell general goods that people in the neighborhood need every day. From spices to cleaning supplies, we try to keep the essentials on hand. It’s a small space, so things are piled up quite high. You have to be careful walking through the aisles. I’ve been here for years, watching the market change. Bada Bazar has a lot of history, and my shop is just a small part of it. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. People just know where we are. Usually, it's the same customers coming back week after week. I enjoy the chat with them while I weigh out the grains or count the change. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming when too many people come in at once, but we manage. We aren't trying to be a big supermarket. We are just a local shop providing for the local people. If you're walking through the bazaar, you'll see our sign. It's a simple place with a simple way of doing things. We stay open pretty late to make sure everyone gets what they need before heading home. It can be tiring, but seeing familiar faces makes it worth it.
