Choudhary Marbles

F-60 Udyog Vihar is where you will find us. Sukher is a loud place. There is always the sound of saws cutting through stone in the distance. We have a decent-sized yard here. It’s mostly just slabs of marble and some granite pieces we keep on the side. The ground is almost always wet because of the cooling water from the machines. You have to be careful not to slip when you’re walking around. We have a small office, but I rarely spend time in there. I’d rather be outside seeing what the guys are doing or checking the quality of a new load. We don't do anything corporate here. It’s just me and a few workers. We’ve known each other for years. Sometimes we sit on the edge of a block and eat our lunch while the machines are off. People come to us because we’ve been in this spot for a long time. They know we have a steady supply. We don't go around making big promises. We just show the inventory we have on hand. If a slab has a weird pattern or a spot, we point it out. It’s natural material, so it’s never perfect. That’s the thing with marble, every piece is a bit different. We just try to keep the yard organized so people can actually see what they are buying without tripping over things. I usually have to yell over the sound of the nearby factories just to be heard on the phone.
