Bhawnna Marbles

If you're looking for us, we are tucked away behind the Rajthan Petrol pump in Sukher Udyog Vihar. We take up plots 146 to 148, so it’s a decent-sized space filled with all kinds of marble slabs. Being behind a petrol pump means it’s a bit quieter than being right on the main road, but it’s still a busy industrial area. You can hear the hum of the city from here. Bhawnna Marbles isn't a place with a polished showroom. It’s a working yard. We have slabs leaning against each other in long rows, and you have to walk through the narrow paths to see them all. It gets pretty hot out there in the afternoon, so we usually try to do the heavy moving in the morning. We’ve had people wander in because they were getting fuel and saw our sign. We just keep things simple. We don't have a marketing team or anyone like that. It’s just us, the workers, and the stone. We spend a lot of time checking the slabs for cracks or weird patterns. Every piece of marble is a bit different, and that's what makes the job interesting. Some days the cranes are working non-stop, and other days it's just us cleaning up the yard and rearranging the stock. It’s a practical business for people who need real stone for their projects. We just keep our heads down and work.
