Being on Bhupalpura Main Road means there is always something going on outside. Number 24 is where we set up Bhavishya Darshan quite some time back. It’s a busy street, especially in the evenings when everyone is headed home or out for snacks. The office itself is pretty straightforward. I brought in some old wooden furniture from my family home because it felt better than buying new plastic stuff. It gives the place a bit of a heavy, grounded feel. There is a small window that looks out onto the main road, though I usually keep the curtain half-drawn to keep the dust out. People stop by at all hours. Some are regulars who just want to check in, and others are new faces who saw the name while stuck in traffic. I try to keep things organized, but there’s always a pile of papers or a stray book somewhere on the table. It’s a working space, after all. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who know the routine. Most of our day is spent listening and looking over things. It’s not a fancy job, but it feels right. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, so we keep some candles handy. It’s just how life is in this part of town. We’ve got a small clock on the wall that runs five minutes fast, but we never bother to fix it. We are just here doing our thing on Main Road.
