Graphic Design And Advertising is based right at Chetak Circle. If you know the city, you know how busy that circle can get at almost any hour of the day. Our office is a small room that looks out over the traffic. We spend most of our time sitting at our desks working on different layouts and drawings. The walls are covered with old posters and scraps of paper where we’ve scribbled down ideas. It’s definitely not a polished corporate office. There are stacks of paper everywhere and the printer is usually making a lot of noise in the corner. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who have been doing this for years. People drop in from the street because they saw our sign at the circle. We don't do any big presentations or use complicated jargon. We just sit down with whoever walks in and talk about what they want to see on their flyers or ads. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. Sometimes we get a bit behind on the filing because we are busy with the actual design work. The light in the office is okay, but we usually have the lamps on late into the evening. It’s a simple setup. We like being in the middle of things at Chetak Circle, even if the noise never really stops. We just keep drawing and designing because it is what we know how to do.
