We are located at 40, Kardhar Complex in Sector-14. It’s a decent spot for a stone business. Working with stone is heavy work, and our hands usually show it by the end of the day. We spend most of our time talking to contractors or homeowners who need pieces for their kitchens or floors. Some people come in knowing exactly what they want, while others spend an hour looking at every slab we have. We don't mind either way. The warehouse gets cold in the winter months but we just wear extra layers and keep moving the slabs around. It’s noisy too, especially when the saws are running or the trucks are loading up. We try to keep the inventory sorted but stone is bulky and takes up a lot of room. Sometimes we have to move ten things just to get to the one piece at the back. It is just the way it is in this trade. We've been in the complex for some time now and know most of the people nearby. It’s a regular job, coming in early and leaving when the last truck is gone. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just selling stone and making sure it gets to where it needs to go. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of traffic in Sector-14, but we deal with it. It’s honest work.
