Balaji General Store

My shop is located at number 110 on Bhupalpura Road No - O. It has been standing here for a good amount of time. We sell all sorts of things, from basic spices and cooking grains to those little household bits like plastic buckets or light bulbs that you always forget to buy. Since it is a general store, people come in for all kinds of random needs. If a pen stops working or they need a specific brand of soap for their laundry, they usually find it on our shelves. The space inside is a bit tight because I try to keep as much stock as possible to help everyone out. Sometimes it gets a little hard to find things quickly if I am busy with another customer at the counter, but we always manage to find it eventually. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, but the road gets a fair amount of traffic during the day. I spend most of my hours sitting behind the counter or checking what needs to be ordered for the next week. It is not exactly a glamorous job, but it keeps the local houses running. I enjoy talking to the people who live nearby. We usually talk about the weather or how the prices of basic things are going up lately. My family helps me out when I have to go out for some personal work. We don't have any big neon signs, just the regular shop front that everyone knows. It is a simple life for us.
