Arunoday Marbles

Our yard, Arunoday Marbles, is right on the Nh.8 Bhuwana Bye Pass in Sukher. It’s a good location because it’s easy for the big trucks to get in and out. We’ve seen the area change a lot over the years, but the marble business stays pretty much the same. It’s all about the quality of the stone coming out of the ground. We spend our days sorting through pieces and talking to people who stop by. Some are building big houses and some just need a few pieces for a kitchen. We treat everyone the same. It gets hot out there on the bypass, and the white marble reflects all that heat right back at you. You get used to it though. We don’t have any polished sales pitches or brochures. We just walk you through the stacks and let the stone speak for itself. Sometimes we have to move twenty slabs just to get to the one someone wants, but that’s part of the job. We try to keep the place somewhat tidy, but a marble yard is always going to have some rubble around. We just focus on getting the stone loaded and sent off. It’s a simple life, working with your hands and dealing with people from all over who are just looking for a decent price on good stone.
