Antiques N Ethinix

Our place, Antiques N Ethinix, is at 34 Shanthi Niketan Colony. We are right on the Bedla-Badgaon Link Road in the Badgaon area. It’s a bit of a trek for some people, but it’s a nice quiet part of town. We have a lot of old things and traditional items stored here. The shop smells a bit like old wood and dust, which is expected given what we handle. We spend a lot of time cleaning up pieces we find or arranging them so people can actually see them. It’s not a modern showroom with bright lights. It’s more like a big storage room where you have to look closely to find the good stuff. We have carvings, old pots, and all sorts of ethnic decorations. Sometimes we spend the whole afternoon just rearranging one corner. It’s a slow kind of business. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who appreciate these kinds of things. People who like history or old styles usually find their way to us. The link road can get a bit dusty when it hasn't rained in a while. We keep the doors open mostly to let some breeze in. We’ve been at this address in Badgaon for a while and we’ve gotten to know the neighbors. It’s a simple life surrounded by old things.
