Amul Food Product

Working out here at the Kaladwas IID Center G-9 is a bit different from being in the middle of the city. It’s more industrial, and you see a lot of trucks and workers moving around all day. Amul Food Product is based right here in this unit. We spend most of our time dealing with crates and inventory. It’s a lot of physical work, honestly. The sun hits the roof of G-9 pretty hard in the afternoon, so it gets stuffy inside if we don't keep the back doors open. We focus on getting things packaged and sent out. It’s not a flashy business. We just have our specific routines that we follow every morning. The name Amul is on our paperwork, and that’s what the delivery drivers look for when they pull up. We’ve got a small break area with a kettle for tea, which is where most of us end up at four o'clock. There are always boxes stacked up near the entrance. Sometimes we have to move everything around just to find one specific item. It’s a bit chaotic, but we know where everything is. Kaladwas is a quiet place at night, which is a nice change from the noise during the shift. We aren't trying to change the world or anything. We just want to make sure the food products we handle are moved correctly and the orders are filled on time.
