Amrit Shree Mava Bhandar

Amrit Shree Mava Bhandar is located at number 8 in Chokhla Bazar, Bhopalwadi. This is an old part of the city, and our shop fits right in. We deal in mava and sweets, which is something we’ve been doing for a long time. The smell of fresh milk and sugar is always in the air here. It’s a small place, and most of the space is taken up by the large containers and the area where we prepare things. We don't have a big menu or anything like that. We focus on what we know how to make well. People come from different parts of the city specifically for our mava, especially during the festival seasons. Those times are very hectic, and we often run out of breath trying to keep up with the demand. The shop is simple with plain walls and a sturdy counter. We don't think it is worth spending much on decorations when the food is what matters. It gets quite hot in the back where the cooking happens. You can see us working through the window sometimes. Chokhla Bazar is a narrow street, so it’s always a bit of a squeeze to get through, but people find their way to us anyway. We’ve known some of our customers since they were children. It’s that kind of neighborhood. We just keep doing what we do every day without much fuss.
