Adit Marbles

Adit Marbles is situated over on Badgaon Road, specifically at 107 Bedla Road near the Navratna Complex here in Udaipur. It’s a decent location, easy enough to find if you are heading out that way. We’ve been set up here for a bit, and the area has definitely gotten busier lately. Rajasthan is famous for its marble, so there is always work to be done. Our yard has a variety of pieces, some big, some small. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of what comes in from the quarries. It's funny how every piece of stone is different, you never quite know what the pattern will look like until it's cut. My brother and I usually handle the daily stuff. We don't use any big words to describe what we do. It’s just about having the right stone when someone needs it for their house. The dust gets everywhere, on our clothes and in the office, but that’s part of the trade. Sometimes customers come in with very specific ideas, and other times they just want to see what catches their eye. We stay open pretty late most days. Navratna Complex is a good landmark to tell people when they get lost trying to find us. It’s just a normal business, nothing too complicated, just us and our marble slabs on Bedla Road.
