About Aakanksha Marble Palace – Building & Construction Material in Udaipur
You can find Aakanksha Marble Palace right across from the Bank of Baroda on N.H. 8 in Sukher. Being out here on the highway means there is always a lot of dust and the sound of big trucks passing by at all hours. We have a lot of space here to keep our marble slabs organized. Most of our day is spent out in the yard, checking the inventory and talking to builders who pull off the main road to see what we have. It’s a pretty straightforward operation. We don’t have a big sales team or anything; it’s usually just us and a couple of workers helping move the heavy stuff. The sun gets really hot out here in Sukher, especially in the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy loading done early in the morning if we can. Marble is a tricky thing because every block is different, and sometimes you don’t know what the pattern looks like until you clean the dust off. We keep things pretty casual around the office. If someone walks in, we just show them what’s in the stacks. There aren't any high-pressure tactics here. We just know our stone and where it came from. The highway location makes it easy for transport, which is good because moving these slabs is no small task. It’s a busy spot, but we like being where the action is.
