Pms Earth Mover Works

You can find us upstairs above the EP office at 36 South Beach Road. We’re right near Mada Kovil, which is a pretty well-known landmark in this part of town. Being on South Beach Road means we get a bit of a breeze sometimes, but mostly we are focused on the earth-moving equipment. Pms Earth Mover Works is basically about handling the big machines that dig and move dirt. We don't keep the actual backhoes and excavators right in the office, obviously. They’re usually out at various work sites or parked in a lot nearby. The office upstairs is where we handle the scheduling and talk to people who need work done. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it’s a decent spot. We spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating where the machines need to be and making sure we have enough fuel and operators for the day. Sometimes things go wrong, like a hydraulic line leaking, and we have to scramble to get it fixed. It’s just the way this kind of work is. We’ve been here for a while now and the locals know where to find us. We don’t have any fancy signs, just the work we do. It’s a practical business for people who need ground cleared or holes dug. We just take it one day at a time and try to keep the equipment running.
