Vasumathi Sif Organic Farmers Producer Company Limited is situated in Anupanahalli within the Aregujjanahalligramaoanchayath area of Urdigere Hobli. It is a very local setup and we are right in the middle of everything here. Being out in this part of the country means we deal with a lot of different things than city offices do. The roads can be a bit rough especially after a heavy rain and sometimes the power is a bit unreliable. We spend a lot of our time meeting with people from around the area and talking about the daily work that needs to get done. Our space is functional and mostly filled with chairs and a few old cupboards for our files. There is always a bit of mud on the floor from people coming and going but we don't mind it much. The air is better out here than in the city which is a nice bonus. We don't have any big corporate signs or fancy lobby areas. It is just a place where local folks come to get things sorted out. Most of us grew up around here so we know the families and the land pretty well. It feels more like a community spot than a strict office. We just take things one day at a time and do our best to stay organized. It is a busy life but it is a good one and we like being part of this village.
